Hope you’re having a great start of the year! Here is my first newsletter for 2023 with, I’ll keep this one short!

Market Report

Below is the 2022 annual market report but here some recent highlights I would like to bring to your attention:
  • Mortgage rates fell from 6.23% to 6.2% the lowest level since peaking at 7.2% last October. Mortgage applications are also up 7% from last week, but demand is still down as rates are still well above what they were in the pre-pandemic era.
  • Sales dropped almost 50% in Dec 2022 year-over-year yet still the 2nd best year in history.
  • Prices & inventory increased slightly, market remains tight.
