Originally from the Netherlands, Joan moved to Miami in 2012 and began her real estate and marketing career in the dynamic South Florida luxury real estate market. Prior to that, she worked for a developer in The Netherlands and in Surinam, South America.

Arriving in Miami, she started working for a tech-forward boutique real estate brokerage based in Miami Beach and formed a team with top-producer Josh Stein. Her creativity, passion, persistence, lead-generating skills and penchant for first-class customer service led to more than $50 Million in completed luxury residential transactions in the first 4 years of working together. While there, her team received the Miami Chamber of Commerce’s “Most innovative marketing for a real estate agent” award in 2014.

In 2017, Joan contributed her innovative talents and international experience to the top-ranked Dora Puig Team at Luxe Living Realty in 2017-2021 where she has been working directly alongside Dora Puig, the No.1 broker in Miami-Dade County for 5 consecutive years as ranked by the Real Trends, published by the Wall Street Journal with over $4 Billion+ in closed career sales. Extremely tech-savvy and in tune with the latest integrated real estate marketing trends, Joan has been in charge of the digital marketing and advertising for Dora Puig, representing over $300 Million in sales per year.

In addition to being an agent, Joan has provided luxury concierge services and property management for the majority of her clients. She has also become a social media content creator, collaborating with luxury hotels, real estate, interior and lifestyle brands all over the world!

Growing up in the Netherlands, Joan developed a keen interest in nature, sustainability and environmental issues at a young age. With nearly a decade of experience selling luxury real estate in Miami, Joan continues with her mission making modern luxury real estate as sustainable as possible and push this “eco-chic” concept.

Along with her European background, keen eye for design and style, extensive travel experience and first-class education, Joan’s appreciation for various cultures and architecture have coalesced in in a stellar career for her in Miami. Bruggink is fluent in English, Dutch with a conversational proficiency in German, Spanish and French. Joan graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, Economics and Law with a concentration in Real Estate Management from the University of Amsterdam. In her spare time, she loves to travel, being outdoors and practices yoga.
